I recently tried the Fresh ‘Black Tea’ Age-Delay Instant Infusion Treatment Toner, and it’s been a love affair ever since.
I have always found it a bit hard to try new products only because my skin freaks out all the time whenever I try something new. Well not all the time, but frequently enough that I hesitate trying new products. So, whenever I do try a new product and it doesn’t cause a strange and unsightly reaction (and if it works, too), i’m going right back to where I bought it and i’m stocking up! The last time I did this was for the Yes to Cucumbers Gentle Milk Cleanser. I still use it, and it works like a charm. I still have a box full, too! Get where i’m going with this? It’s serious business!
For Christmas, my sister gave me a gift bag full of luxury and high end makeup and skincare products. Aside from the things she knew I wanted, this goodie bag included a treatment toner from Fresh. Here’s a moment of my honesty: It came in a dark and slightly unattractive bottle which did not compel me to want try it at all. I stashed it away for a few days and read several reviews, much of them being positive. I wanted to try it out, but now I feared that my skin might react badly to it. I swabbed a bit near my chin and alas, not one skin issue! Nada!
The product claims to provide “24 hours” of moisture, and evens skin tone for a more “radiant” and “healthy” appearance. Say no more! I’ll hop on that train faster than you can say au devoir! After 2-3 weeks of using the Fresh ‘Black Tea’ Age-Delay Instant Infusion Treatment Toner, I definitely saw a positive change in my skin. It looked and felt softer, and more radiant. I did not appear any “younger”, but there was a more youthful essence present. I was sold. The product I did not want to try became a staple in my skincare regimen.
I love that it has kept my combo skin moisturized, and has also slightly evened out my skin tone. I love the consistency of this product and how it doesn’t reek of alcohol like some toners I have used in the past. I don’t necessarily like the scent, but the results that I have seen from using this product are too good to want to pass it up because of how it smells. When it comes to skincare, you just have to make a few sacrifices!
The only downside to this product (other than the smell as noted above) is that it runs on the more expensive side, and I’ve been going through it pretty fast considering that I splash this product generously on a few cotton balls every night. Despite the cost, I will still purchase this product because I have seen results in only a short period of time and it hasn’t made my skin react negatively. I love this product, and it lives up to it’s claims!
Has anyone else tried this product? What are some other toners you have used that are similar? Comment below!
