Bye-Bye Blackheads & Large Pores!

I’ve been using this mask for about 10 years with great results, and the best part is that it’s only $3!

I started using this product around the age of 15 and I haven’t looked back since. It was introduced to me by a friend who suffered from severe acne. After a few months of regular use, her acne subsided significantly and was much more under control. I’m not sure if the mask was the reason behind her skin improving, but I thought it was worth trying to relieve my own skin concerns which consisted mostly of oiliness, blackheads and a few pimples in my t-zone. After using it once a week for a few months, I saw a significant improvement in my skin. I had less breakouts, and my skin wasn’t as oily. I still use this product today and after using it for so many years, i’ve learned how to use this in several ways! Here are 2 of my  favorite ways to use this product:

Spot Treatment

I don’t always slather this on my whole face if I don’t need to. I learned this when my skin became more normal and I was masking still one to two times a week. I saw some dryness because my skin probably didn’t need the mask twice a week! So, when my skin is a bit more on the normal side I like to use this mask in areas that I need it, or directly on pimples. It makes much more sense to treat areas that are affected by acne, oil and blackheads. I’ve seen that it brings a good balance to the skin without disrupting areas that are healthy and normal. I leave it on the affected areas until it dries, which usually takes about 10 minutes or so.

Bi-Monthly Detox

These days my skin is much more normal now that i’m older and have an established skin routine. I still like to use this twice a month on my entire face to keep oiliness and acne at bay along with my regular skin routine. Put it on, let it dry, and rinse off! It’s so easy and the cool tingling sensation from the mint always feels really relaxing and refreshing.

I’ve found that I use this product in these 2 ways for the most part and I occasionally use this on my nose if I run out of nose strips!

I love that this product is so affordable and effective. The texture is very creamy and is clay like due to the bentonite in the formula. Bentonite is a natural clay that has been used for its deep pore cleansing properties. I have the powder form as well and use it when I want to mix my own customized mask. It can be bought in powder form here.

I know many other people who have used this with great results and have even compared the results of using this mask this to the Glam Glow line of higher end facial masks. That say’s a lot considering that Glam Glow also has really great masks (trust me, i’ve tried them!)

I have loved using this product for the past 10 years and see myself continuing to use it for many more years to come in the future! Have you tried this product? What were your results? Comment below!

Thanks for commenting on my post! I believe I might have bought this product at Walgreens, or Wal-Mart. It looks like it can also be bought online!
